Sankarihaudat

Arkkitehti Erik Bryggmanin suunnittelemat muistolaatat ja muistomerkki yhdeksälle vuoden 1918 vapaussodassa kaatuneelle vihittiin 1920-luvulla. Vuosien 1939–1944 sotien muistomerkin suunnitteli Erik Lindroos, ja se pystytettiin vuonna 1953. Tässä yhteydessä vapaussodassa kaatuneiden komea muistomerkki "hylättiin", vain etusivun tekstikilpi otettiin talteen ja liimattiin uuteen muistomerkkiin. Samoin vapaussodassa kaatuneiden muistolaatat korvattiin valkoisilla puuristeillä, samanlaisilla, jotka pystytettiin talvi- ja jatkosodassa kaatuneille. Hautausmaalla on yhteensä 126 valkoista puuristiä. Vapaussodassa kaatuneita oli 9, talvisodassa 55 ja jatkosodassa 62.

Warriors' graves

The memorial plaques and monument to nine fallen from the 1918s War of Independence were designed by architect Erik Bryggman and inaugurated in the 1920s. The younger monument from the 1939 - 1944 war was planned by Erik Lindroos and erected in 1953. On this occasion, the stately monument was "erased" from the fallen in the War of Independence, only the front text plate was recovered and placed on the new monument. Likewise, the individual memorial plaques for those killed in the War of Independence were replaced with white wooden crosses, the same crosses that were placed over fallen people from the Winter and Continuation Wars. In the cemetery there are a total of 126 white wooden crosses. 9 crosses over the fallen from the War of Independence, 55 over the fallen from the Winter War and 62 over the fallen from the Continuation War.
